Now that the dust from AdeptiCon has settled, we wanted to take a moment to reflect on the event and celebrate the dedication of our community on display throughout the weekend. With over 800 players filling the event halls each day playing our games, we were grateful for the opportunity to celebrate your passion for play and to witness your amazing achievements during the show.

Our World Championships all held last chance qualifiers and solid events through to the end. We’re thrilled to congratulate the champions of those events and hope you will too!

Star Wars: Shatterpoint players experienced their first AdeptiCon events, playing in league and themed events throughout the weekend. We had our first Star Wars: Shatterpoint Premiere Showdown, requiring multiple strike teams played in multiple combination throughout the event—featuring over 630 miniatures across the 53 participants.

The World Premiere of AMG’s new experience, GNK Racing, was a big hit with over 220 participants. Players took control of a hot rod GNK Droid designed for maximum speed—an eye-watering 3 miles per hour—and race them through and around a perilous scrap yard. Some players even brought their own custom GNKs from the Star Wars: Shatterpoint Take Cover terrain pack to participate.
—
We also had the premiere of our Timeline event for Marvel: Crisis Protocol, and 57 brave players took on this new format with a grand total of 1710 miniatures battling it out for our first trophy, created by Brendan Roy.
In addition to players enjoying AdeptiCon’s league and themed events for Marvel: Crisis Protocol, painters were able to enter our second ever Path of the Worthy painting competition. We want to extend a massive thank you to all for sharing over ninety entrees with us and all the attendees at the show. If you’re curious to see some of the action, we’ve got a gallery ready for you to view all of the entries that received a medal. Of course, we want to congratulate all of our Best in Category—AKA Mighty—winners, and winner of the Worthy overall!

There was also a ton of hobby on display for AdeptiCon’s painting recognitions for Star Wars: Legion as well as folks who created amazing projects for their events and display boards to share during the show and at the AdeptiCup event Saturday night.

This was our first year offering painting classes at AdeptiCon with Sorastro, Brendan Roy, and our very own Dallas Kemp! Attendees were able to sign up for classes on painting true metal, speed painting, and techniques for painting white armor.

We were also able to share several announcements with you all during our Studio Update Panel with Roadmaps for Star Wars: Legion, Star Wars: Shatterpoint, and Marvel: Crisis Protocol. All of these announcements regarding upcoming products can be reviewed on our newly published Event Page for AdeptiCon!
Thank you so much for being a part of sharing a passion for play and for hobby at the show. We cannot wait to see everyone’s progress next year!
