To kickoff this preview, we are bringing new Tournament/League Kits to stores. Current players are familiar with the traditional tournament kits, including foil and special promo cards. This new program expands previous offerings with three unique kits per year, each containing prizes for all players for four rounds of play. Each kit also includes gold foiled Top 4 versions of the fourth round award card for the event finalists and has a special award for the event champion. In addition to being able to be run as single-day events, these kits can also be used to run a multi-week league or new player Escalation League, giving communities even more options to enjoy organized events in their stores.
Brand new to AMG Organized play, we are beyond excited to have announced Weekly Play Kits as a new Organized Play offering, starting with Star Wars: Legion. Weekly Play Kits are designed to reward and support general in-store play. The program features blind pack boosters, each containing 3 random alternate style cards drawn from across Legion. Most exciting of all, each Weekly Play Kit will feature 5 brand new pieces of stunning alternate art, with various rarities available in packs. The first three sets we’ve designed feature striking black and gold stylized art that are sure to stand out on the tabletop.
This week, we announced the pre-orders for the reissues of Separatist Alliance B2 Super Battle Droids and Galactic Republic Clone Commander Cody packs. Here is a first look at their updated cards. These current reissues are just the start of the significant work to update all of the previous Legion releases with new artwork, cards, and multilingual packaging to match the new Star Wars: Legion.
The new Padawan Ahsoka and Commander Ahsoka pack is coming to Star Wars: Legion. Here is a look at what her years of battlefield experience in the Clone Wars bring!
Familiar faces rejoin the fight as we see characters and vehicles with updated packaging and rules for Star Wars: Legion.
One of the most exciting things we are looking forward to having players sink their teeth into are the new Customizable Commander & Operative packs. Featuring a pack for each faction, these multi-piece kits are the first time players can build their own custom characters in Star Wars: Legion. Including different kinds of weapons, alternate head options and body builds, this is the time for players to build their own Commander and Operatives and bring that unique touch to armies. It’s not just the minis that players customize to their liking, but their characters’ in-game abilities and rules as well! Using brand new upgrades unique to these customized packs, players can really explore various strategies and tactics for their factions and armies like never before.
With the refreshed rules for Star Wars: Legion, we want to bring official updated cards and game essentials for players. These upcoming New Essentials Kit and Card Packs are everything players will need to have their armies up to date and ready to jump into battle. As we get closer to release, we will share more about the card packs for each army. These card packs and rules can be found online on the Atomic Mass Games website.
Are you ready to join the fight? We are excited to share the first look at the new Starter Sets for Star Wars: Legion. Each Starter Set includes everything players need to start playing. Featuring a 600-point Recon-level army, with new sculpts for each iconic character Commander and hard-plastic miniatures for troopers. These Starter Sets are going to be the best way to start playing, all for just an MSRP of $94.99. Pre-orders will be opening soon!

Finally, we know players have been wondering about when certain legacy Legion units and expansions will return to their local game store shelves. We wanted to also take a moment during the presentation to share our roadmap for product reissues through the end of this year and throughout 2026. We hope that this knowledge will help both veteran and new players be able to better plan their collections as they continue to expand their Star Wars: Legion collections.
As we wrap up, please join the Star Wars: Legion Game Dev Team on April 15th for our Legion Developer Update live stream. This stream will present the final and complete Legion card rebalance and revamp, giving players the complete refreshed Legion rules that will be released in printed format with the card packs in August of this year. Additionally, we will be sharing our current thoughts on the state of the game and what our plans are as we look toward the November Legion Developer Update.
