Atom’s Road to the World Championships at AdeptiCon 2024

We wanted to take an opportunity before Gen Con to clarify the “Road to Worlds” for Star Wars: Legion, Star Wars: X-Wing, and Star Wars: Armada. The qualifying events will take place from May 2023 to Feb 2024, leading up to the World Championships at AdeptiCon in March 2024.

As you may know, there are 2 ways to qualify for the invite-only tournament at AdeptiCon.

The first and likely most accessible way is to play in a Store Championship. One person from each of these events receives an invite. Event kits can be ordered by your friendly local game store from their Asmodee Sales Rep and require at least 16 players to participate. They can be purchased under the following SKUs:

SWK13 – Star Wars: X-Wing Store Championship Kit

SWK14 – Star Wars: Legion Store Championship Kit

SWK49 – Star Wars: Armada Store Championship Kit

The second way to qualify is by placing well at a World Open Qualifier Event. These are larger, regional events that require a minimum of 32 players and are held across 2 days. Four people from these events will receive an invite to worlds. In addition, the winner will have their travel and accommodations to the World Championship at AdepiCon 2024 covered! Asmodee and AMG work with the event organizers on these Premier events; there will be less than 25 for each game line taking place around the world. We will be announcing the schedule for these as soon as we can. The first ones took place this past weekend at UK Games Expo!
