Wanted for crimes against the Empire, today’s Databank Download for Star Wars™: Shatterpoint details the second half of the Ghost’s crew!

In the face of an oppressive regime, these Rebels choose to rise up and fight against all odds to create a brighter future. Even in the face of setbacks, mistakes, and defeats they never give up hope. Hope that things will get better.

Hera Syndulla is the captain of the Ghost. A strong leader, an eternal optimist, and the matriarch of the “family.” Beyond her skill as a pilot, her decisiveness and keen eye for tactics earned her the position of Phoenix Leader. This Tactic ability allows an ally to dash, and if that ally is also a fellow Spectre, they get to advance instead. Hera is no stranger to combat situations and focuses the brunt of her effort on the battlefield to ensure that everyone comes home safe. Crew of the Ghost provides Cover to every allied Rebel Alliance character in range. This small defensive boost can make a huge difference, so Hera will often be in the heart of the fight to make sure that most of her allies can reap the benefit. That Hera wants to protect her crew does not mean that she is willing to retreat from tyrants, however. When the cause is worthy, even in the face of near-certain defeat, Hera will fight. We Will Not Stand Down is a powerful active ability that allows an allied Rebel Alliance Unit to transition from Wounded to Injured and move toward an active objective. Rounding out this impressive list of abilities is Hera’s Identity, We Have Hope. This Identity provides a massive amount of healing to allied Rebel Alliance Units in range at the cost of a single Momentum—and for free if you choose to activate Hera with a Shatterpoint Card.

Hera’s combat Stances are Spread a Little Light and Difficult Choices. The former boasts a varied Combat Tree and a slight focus on ranged defense. Both of her attack Expertise Charts in this Stance include heal results in their highest tier. This along with the 3 heals available in Hera’s third Combat Tree result make this a very powerful support Stance when Hera feels relatively safe from melee threats. Difficult Choices moves Hera’s defenses slightly more into melee, and her Attack Expertise Charts become slightly more offensive. The Combat Tree on this Stance trades versatility for damage and a strain condition that can quickly wound an enemy. On both sides of the card, Hera’s Defense Expertise Chart provides good defense and healing. Wherever Hera is on the battlefield, she will provide solid support for her squad.

Sabine Wren is a Mandalorian by birth and a Spectre by choice. She will take on any fight to protect her family—whether that be Clan Wren or the found family she has built for herself on the Ghost. Sabine’s abilities are very similar to other Mandalorian Units but with some added synergy with Rebel Alliance allies.

My Friends Make the Impossible Possible is a support-focused Tactic ability that lets an allied Rebel Alliance character dash. If Sabine chooses a fellow Spectre, however, they will also gain a Hunker token. Her Reactive ability, I Forged This Armor With My Family lets Sabine make a focus action after her move action if she ends within range of either a Mandalorian or a Spectre character. For added mobility, and explosions, Sabine has the Active ability I’m Gonna Go Add Some Fireworks to the Celebration. This lets Sabine first cause some explosive disruption at a nearby objective, then jump to her next destination. Sabine Wren is an impressive Rebel fighter and a true Daughter of Mandalore. This innate ability gives Sabine Protection and Sharpshooter, and also allows her to replace any dash, advance, climb, or reposition with a jump movement.

My Way is Sabine’s combat Stance, boasting solid attack stats for both melee and range paired with Beskar Armor expertise and four defense dice against both melee and range attacks. Sabine is equally competent with her Westar-35 Blaster Pistols in both ranged and up-close engagements, and her expertise charts provide consistent benefit to both attack types. It is worth noting, however, that Sabine’s ranged attacks will often get bonus dice from her Sharpshooter value and free focus action. Her Combat Tree offers shoves and conditions early on, along with a free Active ability at 3 results that can be extremely useful for moving Sabine around the battlefield without spending your valuable Force. Sabine Wren is every bit the combatant that one would expect to come out of Mandalore.

“Chopper” (C1-10P) has been Hera’s droid and faithful companion for a long while and is as much a part of the crew as anyone else aboard the Ghost, if not moreso. He’s an older model astromech and his Sturdy Construction shows it. This innate ability provides “Chopper” (C1-10P) with Protection, as well as immunity to both the Pin and Disarmed conditions. Is That One of Ours? showcases another side benefit of being a non-distinct droid, making it impossible to target “Chopper” (C1-10P) with ranged attacks while his Order Card is in the Order Deck or in reserve. “Chopper” (C1-10P) isn’t one to stay out of the action, and his Rocket Booster helps him stay mobile and change elevation during his activation. His Reactive ability, Chopper, Sometimes You Do it Right, provides extra mobility to allied Rebel Alliance Units when he wounds an enemy and a huge mobility boost if that Unit is also a Spectre. Even if he doesn’t manage to Wound nearby enemies, “Chopper” (C1-10P) can always cause some Mayhem. This Active ability has the potential to put three conditions on any enemy Unit and can be extremely powerful when it all works out.

“Chopper” (C1-10P) is a fearless fighter in his Droid Rage Stance. Definitely a short-range fighter, “Chopper” (C1-10P)’s range attack is only Range 3. When he gets in close, however, “Chopper” (C1-10P) is ferocious. His Attack Expertise Charts provide Critical results at all levels and his Combat Tree, though simple, is effective at both moving enemies off objectives and causing damage. The Sterner Stuff Defense Expertise does a fine job at keeping “Chopper” (C1-10P) up and moving in conjunction with his innate Protection and the possible repositioning off of any attack, while not likely, can be instrumental in putting Chopper into position to strike back swiftly and effectively.

Alongside Kanan Jarrus, Ezra Bridger, and “Zeb” Orrelios, these rebels are ready to face any of the greatest threats of the Galactic Empire, even Grand Admiral Thrawn. We hope you enjoyed this Databank Download for Star Wars: Shatterpoint. Pre-Order available through the Atomic Mass Games website.
